Lucas Falick

BIO

Lucas Falick is a storyteller that explores the gaps between who we present ourselves to be and who we truly are.

Their work is about resisting binaries, resisting the status quo, and resisting institutions that don’t support the people they purport to serve.

They are silly with a purpose.

Lucas is the Co-Artistic Director of Four Letter Word, a NYC-based theater company that makes scrappy, independent theater.

Favorite theatrical credits include: Never Swim Alone, The Polar Bears, Shotz Colors (Janet Kinghorn Bernhard Theater), Cardiectomy, and Stop the Presses: A Jack Kelly Story (Self-produced). Assistant directing credits include: Pippin, Arsenic and Old Lace, Rent, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (The Mendham Players), The North American premiere of Where Are You Going, Little Horse? (Janet Kinghorn Bernhard Theater), and two upcoming productions with The Possibility Project and Four Letter Word.

Lucas also works with the Beam Center as the Programming Director of their Beam Camp program, which offers youth ages 8-17 the opportunity to gain confidence in hands-on skills while exploring design, problem solving, teamwork, and the creative process.

They studied at Skidmore College, earning a B.S. for Theater and minoring in Political Science.
